Organizational Health Check of a management team
Starting point
The purpose of the health check was to become clearer on how the top management as a group could more effectively turn its strategic intentions into reality.
Analysis
On a 1:10 scale, the overall health level was assessed to be 6. The main conclusions were:
- Distant work (in space and time) was second-rated.
- Persistent overwork was experienced by management team members as lack of care on the side of the R&D head.
- Great potential in lifting the so-called team to actually act as one.
- Vertical collaboration (between individual team member and team head) much more effective than horizontal (between team members).
What was done and outcome
The boss agreed with the analysis and decided to let his HR partner support him with next steps.
